I’m Anita, a 40-something wife and mother, as well as a self-taught cook, baker, editor and photographer.
“What’s Cooking Anita” is a place for me to share the food I love which is a diverse mix of food from every corner of the world. I began blogging in January 2016 as a way of sharing recipes with my family and friends. It is only a hobby as I am working full time as a mechanical engineer. Most of the afternoons and weekends are spent planning, preparing and cooking.
My other hobby is running and I run as often as I can to stay fit and to be able to enjoy life and good food. My dear husband makes the blogging and running hobbies possible by supporting me and training with me, helping me with ideas for what to cook, but he also helps me by keeping the kitchen tidy while I cook. I couldn’t have done this without him. My children are also great helpers and also make suggestions for what to cook and some evenings they patiently wait for hours for dinner to be ready.
