These chicken wings are so tasty that they are almost addictive.
Ingredients (serves 4):
800 g chicken wings
2 tablespoons sunflowers oil
1 small red onion
3 cloves of garlic
1,5 dl sodium reduced soy sauce
150 g sugar
4 tablespoons fish sauce
3 tablespoons lime juice
0,5 rice vinegar
2 tablespoons sugar
1 dl water
1 cucumber, sliced into fine cubes
3 spring onions, finely chopped.
Add the rice vinegar and the sugar to a saucepan and bring to a boil. Zimmer until the sugar has dissolved. Remove from the heat and add the cucumber. Leave to cool and the add the spring onion. Keep in the fridge until the chicken is ready.
Finely chop garlic and onion
Fry the onion i a large frying pan on medium heat until it is soft. Add the garlic and fry for another minute the add the soy sauce.Add the chicken wings and let them cook for 5 minutes. Add the sugar, mix well and let it simmer until the chicken wings are tender.
Serve as a snack with the cucumber salad or as part of a Tapas dinner.
